This is now out of date with the move to spack 1.1

On a minor note the build step has truncated output and I think it would be good if it showed the last bit where it indicates success (or failure). Perhaps an elipsis could be used?

I agree the page should be updated.
I would also give as little detail as possible about steps related to Spack, because they should be followed from the Setup Spack page (listed as a prerequisite) and we should avoid non-necessary details that might get out of date.

This was brought up when I was teaching someone how to use Spack at ocean sciences, I think it's always helpful to know what "success" looks like.
