I used Open Camera yesterday evening at around 18h00 ( 6 p.m). I toot approximatively 6 photos and same quantity from native camera app on xiaomi poco-x7. Now at 10 oclock ( 10 a.m.) I see that the battery reports that 93.97% of battery was eaten by Open Camera. Next in the list is native camera 2.1%, Voice calls 1.43%, aTimeLogger Pro 0,59%, Other 1.19%.
Conclusion, using Open Camera and the native camera at the same time in the same circumstances, Open Camera is consuming 45 times more energy than the OEM one.
