Connecting to an JCI Easy I/O

Hi, I have been trying to connect to an Easy I/O through BACnet. I have tried to use BAC0.lite with the IP address of the USB dongle that I am using and using the BAC0.connect with the IP address of the Easy I/O and I cannot get any connection to the Easy I/O. I have a feeling that I might need to use a BACnet IP router or is there something I am missing relating to setting up the connection?

Is your controller BACnet IP ?
On the same subnet ?
