Feature Request - Make the history depth remember its value between runs

Hi,

We have a use case where we want the history depth to be some value like 50000 lines, and then the system will run for many months before it is restarted. The default of infinite history will make the ram fill to exhaustion much before that time. It would be helpful if the last used value was used again, like how filters are remembered.

At some point, I may try to add that functionality myself, any implementation suggestions?

It has been years since I looked in-depth at this, but looking at the source code, I would say the history size is not working at all ... it look like the feature implementation is not finished.

Specifically for long-term monitoring I would recommend using DebugViewConsole.exe which is the commandline version of debugview.
