Searching google or using google services doesn't work on residential IP

I am hosting on a residential IP where I am not blacklisted on anything - I can sign in to google on my normal browser and search google, but I cannot do that with the proxy.
When searching on google I get a "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot" message. Clicking "I'm not a robot" makes it keep loading forever.
Additionally, pressing the "Sign in" button on google pages tells me that the application is not trusted, even though it works on this IP without a proxy.

Thats because the IP used by the proxy is the one that is contacting Google, and since many people are using the IP it either has heavy enough traffic that Google thinks it’s a bot or got flagged by Google as a proxy IP and google blacklisted it.

Wait, so it doesn't matter where you host it, this proxy always goes to another IP to make requests instead of from where it's being hosted? That doesn't make sense at all, are we sure that's correct?

No, the IP is from where it is hosted, but it is not your computer’s IP, it is the website’s. A proxy site works similarly to a VPN, but only on that site (if that makes sense).

And yes, this may be inaccurate information, this is just what I have made it out to be like from experience. If you’re trying to search things up, use DuckDuckGo, but if you’re trying to use Google services then there is no replacement and I wouldn’t recommend signing in to anything on these sites anyways due to a history of them logging your device IPs and logging other traffic.
