Wayland compatibility

Come the late 2020s, Wayland will be the de-facto display server on Linux. Right now, the app uses X11, which is fine in most cases, but tends to be broken in pure Wayland environments (e.g. tiling compositors). Here are some of the issues I'm facing (on Qtile, a tiling window manager, running under Wayland, using the Flatpak):

• The app assumes a specific window size, which messes with auto tiling
• One must hold down the left mouse button and select a menu bar menu, otherwise the menu bar disappears
• The app assumes that one has access to a stacking environment, and dialogue windows do not appear at all
