Hover animation on Prime is annoying !

Hi !
I just found out about this project a few days ago, and I really like what it's proposing !
I mainly use Prime and I'me really glad this extension gets rid of the x-ray overlay.

One other feature that really bugs me is the hover animation that opens up a card with some details about the movie/series. I'm just trying to scroll, and cards keep showing up.

I would be glad to work on a feature that disables this animation. Is that something you would be interested in ?

i will investigate if there is a good option to disable it while scrolling.

I finished programming disabling all hover animations, while you are scrolling. That should be fine right?. Heres the code: f0d7365

Oh you were really quick! Cool !
This should prevent hover animation while scrolling, witch is great.
But I was thinking more about disabling hover animations all together. The problem I have is that as soon as my mouse stops on a movie, a card show up and creates clutter or layout shifts.
The card that shows up is not necessary. We could click on the movie to open it.
If we want to keep the card, we could add an icon on the miniature to open up the card. click the icon => open the card, click the movie => open the movie page.

So disabling animations on scroll is great ! But it would be even greater to simply not have the animations at all. :-)

I will probably not add that, because with the animation you can watch trailers and start the show directly etc. i think just disabling them while scrolling is fine.
