Hey,

I noticed that the NowPlaying feature will sometime stop working.
Dunno how that happens.

Okay so I think it's really an issue when I play music on my phone(?).
I am currently listening to music with my computer and it works.
Earlier (the logs I sent) were with my phone.

Using my phone to listen and track with the Client (no computer involved) is also messy.

Idk if it's intentional but my account stays online when I listen to music (despite having all clients closed). I can open another issue if needed for this specific case (or discord is just really slow and this isnt related to multiscrobbler)

I haven't had a chance to try to reproduce this yet but based on your logs my hunch is that it's because there are two "active" jellyfin players: dXYzlB0ocH-jellyfin-tui-jellyfin-tui-kuo and 062549E3-8-kuoPhone-Discrete-kuo

MS does some consolidation when a Source has multiple players: it only chooses one to use for Now Playing so that the downstream player isn't randomly choosing a track as now playing and making calls to change it constantly.

I think what's happening is its trying to use Player dXYzlB0ocH which shows as STOPPED. And has been for a long time (76837s ago). While your phone (062549E3) is the player that is actually active and playing music.

Probably, what I need to do is 1) make MS smarter about choosing player to use for Now Playing, when multiple exist, and 2) try if I can determine why jellyfin is returning a player that is basically dead, for such a long time. this might be a side effect of feishin or just having a client open but idle for a long time.

okay! feels weird since i rarely use both at the same time (and i've never listened to music on both, at the same time)
i dont use feishin anymore, or rarely when i want to check out the new updates. i've always had this issue of players never disappearing tho (even when closed on the client, and jellyfin did not report them as "idling" in its dashboard).
