Arduino Nano

I see you use an Arduino Uno for you project. I have an Arduino Nano available, can it be used instead?

The Arduino Nano and Uno are similar in that they both use the ATmega328P microcontroller and can be programmed using the Arduino IDE. You can use the same source code provided for the Arduino Uno to program the Arduino Nano. However, you must change the board type in the Arduino IDE to Arduino Nano.

The Arduino Uno and Arduino Nano differ in size, with the Nano being much smaller (18mm x 45mm) compared to the Uno (68.6mm x 53.4mm). The Arduino Nano does not have any mounting holes, so it must be secured in place using, for example, hot glue. The pin naming and numbering for both boards are very similar, so you can connect all the wires (power, hall sensor, LCD screen) to the pins with the same names as on the Arduino Uno.

It is recommended that you solder male pins to the Arduino Nano (as shown in the image below), as this makes it easier to connect all the wires to the Arduino Nano.
