elasticsearch-dsl needs to be updated, which itself will update elasticsearch. There are likely several backwards incompatibilities regarding the elasticsearch-dsl library that need to be resolved. Also, the test setup needs to be updated to allow for installing elasticsearch 7. Any effort in those directions would be welcome.
