Feature request: make a pypi package

Hi there!

How about making this project a python package published to pypi?

Would you accept a PR with the project setup (I would use uv for its speed and features) and the CI steps needed to build and publish it?

EDIT: just for context, I would like to use this project as a library in my jupyter/marimo notebooks, and having it as a package on pypi would greatly simplify the sharing of the notebooks

Sure thing. There is a PYPI_API_TOKEN as an organisation secret. https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/blob/404c39873d6e590a148445794585e50d8ba75313/.github/workflows/ci-ifcdiff-pypi.yaml#L34C11-L34C19

This library is/will be also available as ifcopenshell.simple_spf though (maybe not yet on the ifcopenshell version currently on pip, because of some packaging coordination things). But that's a couple of MBs, so quite heavy if you only need this.

Oh, I didn't see that... I surely can use that since my notebooks already use ifcopenshell.

If you still think it is a good idea to have a separate package, I'll try to find some time to go through the PR.
