Ready for release 1.2.4 ?

I am planning to release 1.2.4 once the PR #1377 will be merged, hopefully before the end of this week.

The release 1.2.4 will be our last release supporting Python 3.9 which has now reached end of life and the first release to include packages for Python 3.14.

Let me know if that suits you or if you would like to hold the release until some other thing has been modified/fixed ?

Personally that release schedule is fine for me. I've actually been waiting for a new release so that I could make use of these properties a55604b in some Python based scripts I'm working on.
