Description
Describe the bug
Issuing a redfish ForceRestart or a GracefulRestart for Lenovo SR650v4’s kills power to their DPU(s). This creates a race condition during the host boot process because the host attempts to PXE boot before the DPU is ready. Consequently, the PXE boot fails, and the host reverts to its pre-installed OS.
Expected behavior
We expect the DPU(s) to stay powered on when issuing a force-restart for this Lenovo model.
Additional context
@williampnvidia is filing a bug with Lenovo to address this behavior. Until then, an IPMI tool chassis reset does not cause the DPU(s) to power off and is used as workaround in the state machine.
