Please provide a clear description of problem you would like to solve.

Python 3.14 has been out for ~6 months now, and all of our core dependencies install cleanly (at least on Linux x86_64, in local testing) on this. It would be great to verify this in full CI and officially expand support to Python 3.14, as an increasing share of users will be on that.

looks like we can add python 3.14 to the supported versions by updating the tox configuration to include 3.14 and verifying the core dependencies install cleanly on it. should i open a PR for this?
