Open, Pro, Team, and Enterprise offerings

Here's a preview of the different tiers that will be available in the future for our application and their respective features! Is everything in the right place or do you have a different opinion?

The roadmap will come in the next weeks, and right now with a VERY rough estimation, this will take about 3-5 months along with a brand new user interface (I'll reveal that soon too!). You can find sneak-peeks on few future features that were never disclosed, hope you all appreciate that and be sure to let me know what you think! 🎉

📖 OPEN SOURCE

• It will support all major cloud providers and identity providers
• It will make available integrations to automatically populate sessions from online services (like Okta or AWS SSO)
• Support to multi-org integrations is still uncertain if it goes in the open-source offering (for example configure multiple AWS SSO, like requested here: Multiple AWS SSO Support #63). There was a discussion on the Slack channel about if it should go in the Pro tier or leave it in the open-source offering... I'll open a dedicated discussion here to hear all your feedback; know that we REALLY want to make it open and without limits (we're leaning towards that) but at the same time we want to turn the project into a healthy and supported application... so we are contacting some people in open-source commercialization to get some advice. If you can introduce us to someone that could help us decide or have interesting feedback it would be great! ❤️
• 🎉 Did you see the multi-console extension? We worked on it in secret until now... it will enable you to open all web consoles you want in different tabs and we are pretty excited about this so let me know what you think about it! It goes the same for multi-org, we’re trying to leave it on the open-source offering but we’re still not sure.

💻 PRO

• We added a few bells and whistles to make a better Leapp experience, it’s mostly about saving online your configuration (we don’t want and can’t read it!) and increased security to be sure no one else is trying to access your sessions
• If some companies want to fully adopt Leapp we will offer an early support plan 😄

🫂 TEAM

• Everything’s about collaboration and management! 🤝
• An online dashboard lets you create sessions and distribute configurations to your team members using Leapp… easy as that!
• You will be able to import your sessions online when you move to the team tier, so you don’t need to re-enter all of them
• There will be some price difference between the SaaS and On-Prem offering, but the added security in storing in your environment I think it’s worth it 🔑

🎩 ENTERPRISE

• And from there we’ll go to the enterprise tier… but it’s too soon to discuss that. Just know it will come and will satisfy multi-team management and compliance needs 📝
