Repairing bridge of other author

The BundestagParteispenden bridge is not working since some time (the underlying service URL is dead). I am unable to contact the author .

I have written my own version of the bridge (a complete rewrite) and would like to add it to RSSBridge. What is the next step?

• Create a new bridge
• Overwrite the existing bridge and change the maintainer name
• ... ???

Best is to open a PR with a change against the original bridge. You can ping the original author in it but its usually also visible in the github history if they are still active or not.

Also, overwrite the existing bridge, having a bridge that doesnt work anyways is not worth keeping.

Something to be aware: If possible, make sure to use the same variables/fields as the old one with the same functionality. This way, people with the old bridge configured will just have it working again. If thats not possible, its also fine.
