Would you consider adding a window with a Python REPL? (alongside the plot window and the chat window)?
At first it sounds redundant when there's a script that can be run, but the impetus is teaching/mentoring, where we'd like to either demonstrate how to use the REPL, or have a place to try out single-line-level invocations or exploring types returned by functions.
(I thought I saw a request for "provide a command line window" (which would obviously subsume this request), but I can't find it here -- maybe it was in the discussion on hackernews.)
