UX/UI Improvement: Streamlining the main interface and adding global Drag & Drop #60

Description

@danyonline64

First of all, thank you for this awesome and very practical tool! It perfectly answers a real need.

As a user, I’d love to suggest a few UI/UX improvements to make the interface even more intuitive and fluid, especially for newcomers. Over time, it's easy to get used to the layout, but a fresh perspective highlights a few minor "friction points" regarding how features are grouped.

Here is a summary of the suggestions:

  1. Global Drag & Drop for Files
Current state: Drag and drop is available but requires clicking a specific button first.
Suggestion: Make the entire screen (or a large main area) a drop zone. Dropping any file or image anywhere should instantly trigger the upload.

  2. Isolate and Highlight the "Notepad" feature
Current state: "Notepad" sits right next to "Link" and "New", even though it behaves like an independent utility.
Suggestion: Move the Notepad button away from the main actions. Placing it in the top-right or top-left corner with its notebook icon would make it much more visible, intuitive, and properly valued as the great independent tool it is.

  3. Reorganize Buttons by "Content Type" (Text vs. Files)
Currently, there is a slight disconnect between the top buttons and the bottom storage categories (Snippets, Files, Links).
Files: A dedicated "Manual Upload" button could sit at the top (perhaps next to the Notepad icon) for traditional file sharing, complementing the global Drag & Drop.
Text / Links* Philosophically, URLs and Snippets are closer to each other than to files. It would be much clearer to group them. We could have a unified or dedicated text/URL submission flow, separating it completely from file uploading (which currently shares the same button as snippets, causing some confusion).

Summary of the vision:
A global drop zone for instant file sharing.
A dedicated corner button** for the Notepad utility.
A clear separation between Text/Link inputs and File uploads.

Thank you for considering these adjustments to make local-content-share even more seamless to use :)
