Winboat is just basically a Windows VM running inside a container, nothing more than that. When you map your linux home directory into that Windows VM, you're basically letting any Windows malware to read your files and write and delete anything it wants in your linux system, it can even encrypt your entire home directory.

Just don't think Winboat is isolated from your linux system because it IS NOT.

Run a firewall on Linux and in windows don't share the, "share folder option" keep it off, to be safe. Also unless your using WinBoat all the time you can switch off Auto start container
