What is the difference between remove the furnace and remove the tileentity:furnace? Thanks

Blocks in Minecraft that have additional data will store it in a Tile Entity. Sometimes you can have a Tile Entity that is causing a crash or some other unwanted behaviour. You can remove the Tile Entity with an NBT editor but if the block is still there, the Tile Entity will be re-created by the game. So removing the block may be needed also.

Normally, removing the Block doesn't remove the Tile Entity. This operation lets you find Tile Entities in a selection area by id and then remove those Tile Entities and replace the blocks (default minecraft:air).

Wow idk that. if i destroy a big storage, full of tile entities and recreate a new one. Normally the nbt data of the old tile entities still there?
Cant relog solve it or something?

If you break a block in game then Minecraft should remove the Tile Entity data relating to that block.

If you replace the block by any other means, like using a world editor, then the Tile Entity data will remain. WorldEdit and WorldEdit Unified will remove the Tile Entity when you remove/change a block, but other editors are not guaranteed to do so.
