Search Sniper

I have a few questions regarding Search Sniper. Does it go through each missing item once before starting again, or is it mainly random? I know it says it keeps track of what has been searched recently, but how recently is that? Also, what does the cache do? If I set Cache Retention to 365 days, will it remember it already searched for something before for that duration?

And if this is not how it works, would it be possible to add an option to search for every item once before searching for the same item again?

Setting it to permanent cache with a 365-day duration prevents those results from being searched again for a full year. Outside of cached searches, which are skipped entirely, the behavior is otherwise random.
