Hi all! Started using Meshtastic a few hours ago. Thus far, very impressed with it, but of course the family wants to play with it too! Virtual nodes on meshmonitor seem to be what I'm after. Are there any downsides to using virtual nodes? Just seems like wins across the board. :- ) |

The only downside is that the node itself is a finite resource. Too many virtual node clients can bog down the node, and some clients can get confused when they receive responses to commands they didn't send. But mostly it works just fine :) |
