Widget Improvements - Secure Folder

1. Single Start/Stop widget instead of separate start and stop widgets would be more practical because
   we already know the state from the green dot recording indicator.
2. Problem: Samsung Galaxy - App installed on Secure Folder. Widget adds to home screen instead of secure folder. Maybe the widget can be added during the installation so it knows where to add itself?

Good idea but the existing shortcuts are separate for automation purposes. Like for mapping physical device buttons to trigger recording actions without opening the app. Altho in future we can add a widget too.

The shortcuts are supposed to be on the home screen, what did you mean by secure folder?

Thanks for your response. Ok I understand start/stop is not really a problem.
Samsung's Secure Folder is an encrypted, sandboxed environment based on the Samsung Knox security platform. It behaves like a separate user profile. Apps installed inside the Secure Folder are isolated from the main system; they have their own file storage, own app data. When I create fadcam widget/shortcut, it goes directly to my public home screen. Instead, it should create inside secure folder. I tried to use Macrodroid, i can see your start stop functions however not possible to create a shortcut with them. Some other apps create their shortcuts automatically inside secure folder during installation. That could be nice if possible.

can you please share a sample opensource app that i can analyze how do they achive this? bcz i don't have a samsung device and it is not possible for me to test this

and creating shortcuts inside a secure folder, do you mean the home screen that is using a different profile? The profile feature is also not available on my phone so we will see what we can do about it

sorry I meant this one, unfortunately it is not opensource. it just creates customized shortcuts when you install it.
