After upgrading workflows today (v4.0.5), running pods for a k8s EventSource and a Sensor subscribed to that EventSource were unexpectedly recreated. There were existing workflows that retriggered the sensor after the upgrade, which could be explained by recreation of the workflow resources following the upgrade. Other similar eventsource and sensor pods did not get restarted (and had no existing triggering workflows).
Any ideas as to what might have caused recreation of EventSource and Sensor pods following a workflows version upgrade?
