Scale down support

Are there plans to allow scale down support on this?

We have some developer machines in AWS where developers may pull down a couple TB of data; only to delete it a couple days/weeks/months later. It would be nice to scale the /scratch space back down to the minimal size when not needed. I know btrfs supports online shrink not sure about other filesystems.

LVM supports this as well but the filesystem has to be unmounted first, AFAIK.

At the moment, scale down is not supported. We'll continue to gather feedback on this as a possible future feature.
