Reviving DNxHR support?

Howdy all - Just curious if there's been any ongoing discussion around DNxHR since Thomas Gritzan did his work a few years ago (thread, repo)? I'd love to make use of bmxtranswrap for generating DNxHR opatom files, and looked at pulling Thomas' branch into the current project - it seems mostly fine, though the files aren't working in Avid at the moment.

I couldn't find much more discussion about DNxHR though, so I'm curious if there's a philosophical reason it isn't covered in this project?

There's no philosophical reason for not supporting it. It's not a format that I've needed in my work and so can't spend time resolving issues and completing submissions; it's up to the contributor to address the comments I had in that thread. It's also more complicated now that I don't have the same access to Avid editors, which makes it harder to validate files.

Per #114 this repo is now being archived. You might wish to contribute to https://github.com/ebu/bmx instead (issues will be enabled on that repo shortly).
