Dropdown in a portal

How can i put the dropdown in a portal. My fieldset has overflow hidden. So the dropdown gets cut

unfortunately it does not use modal approach thus creating problems, be it fieldsets or dialogs or any other fixed containers.
I plan to try and add portal behaviour.
