Question: Is mdformat-frontmatter still maintained?

I've been using mdformat-frontmatter a lot and really appreciate your awesome contribution to the open-source community. But I've noticed something concerning: there hasn't been a new commit since 2023, and several PRs for improvements have been hanging out since last year. It's gotten to the point where I can't upgrade mdformat because mdformat-frontmatter has a strict limit on the upper library version. Plus, the PR to fix this has been sitting for about two weeks.

I get that your work is totally voluntary, and we’ve all benefited from your generosity. Still, I wanted to check in on the project's current status. Is it still “actively maintained,” or have you cut back and need extra help? Should users be aware of this when using the tool? I really don’t want to come off as disrespectful or ungrateful; I just want to understand what's going on so I can make informed choices.
