I think the root cause here is that log_results() is being used in multiple scripts (unsteady_benchmark.py and unsteady_benchmark_converge.py) without any explicit testing. Since this function is marked with a TEST comment, I'd recommend checking the tests/ directory for any existing tests that might be missing or incomplete. Have you checked the output.py file for any test cases that cover the different edge cases of log_results()?

Hi @IlyasFardaouix. See my comment regarding unsteady_benchmark.py and unsteady_benchmark_converge.py on #148, it also applies here. There actually a few tests for log_results() (check out tests/integration/test_output.py). However, this function recently expanded significantly, so it is still worth analyzing the coverage. Let me know if you'd like to help with this!
