I'm using a translation app to translate Japanese into English, so the sentences might sound a bit strange, but please bear with me. My name is hiro1616hiro and I live in Japan. I create lists like this every day, but two days ago, suddenly, only a zoomed-out image was displayed in portrait browser windows. My guess is that the "fov" value is applied only to the browser's width, and the display is based on that, resulting in a wide-angle view. This issue may be due to a change in Aladin Lite specifications, but is it possible to revert to the previous specifications that are not affected by the browser window shape? If the reproducibility of the screen and angle of view using links can no longer be maintained, I will have to rewrite some of the links in my list, which I think would be quite a hassle. I would appreciate it if you could consider this matter. Thank you in advance. |

I would like to add a bit more information regarding my previous email. The following images show examples of the display in a vertical and horizontal window when "fov=0.54" is specified. Even though both windows have "fov=0.54" and are roughly the same area, the object in the vertical window appears relatively much smaller. Before the update, objects in vertical windows were displayed at the same size as in horizontal windows. This is thought to be because zooming in and out now depends on the width of the window. It seems more logical and easier to use if the display were fixed at an absolute value and zooming in and out was controlled using the "+" and "-" buttons in the bottom left of the window. Thank you for your consideration. Add a c |
