I used to use v0.5.5n version which was PERFECT! Except the sudden crashes every few days and that's why I had to update to latest version to see if it will be fixed. But since then this version of the app has been incredibly frustrating, it just doesn't do what you say it to do.
// Actual Issue:
On YouTube, one of the privacy filters is blocking the s.youtube.com domain which is used to track youtube watch history. As it makes sense to do, I go to YouTube apps filters and make s.youtube.com a Trusted domain, but it does not work! The Firewall completely ignores this request. Even setting the app to bypass Firewall and dns rules doesn't fix the issue.
Another day on my banking app I cannot log in, it says check for network issues. I open RethinkDNS and see bunch of essential domains getting blocked by DNS privacy filters again. Again I try like above but of course it doesn't work here either, only way to get it working (without turning off RethinkDNS completely) is to disable the VPN Lockdown mode and set it to Exclude the app.
Same issue keeps happening with other apps too, some Reddit videos don't play and couldn't find any obvious blocked domain in logs, so not even sure which domain is responsible for that but setting Reddit to Exclude also fixes the issue.
