Forced Initial Selection for optional forms

The package forces an initial selection even if user hasn't selected anything.

In a usecase where the field is not required, theres no way around it.
The user is force to select a nationality or country.

I had an issue during apple review where I was told, that field should not be required.
There was no way around it, I had to remove the field.

Please provide a fix for this

This is app-level logic, not a package issue. Just track selection yourself:

CountryCode? _selected; // null = user never picked

CountryCodePicker(
  initialSelection: 'US',
  onChanged: (code) => setState(() => _selected = code),
)

// On submit, if (_selected == null) treat as empty/skipped.
The picker needs an initial value to render — what you do with it is up to you.
