STORE_CLOSEST_ENTITIES inconsistent results

Due to fact command STORE_CLOSEST_ENTITIES returns results of periodical scan done by ped's intelligence its output values are changing over time.
It is not enough to just wait 250 ms as implemented in test cases.

Does it mean that if I create an entity (a char, or ped) STORE_CLOSEST_ENTITIES won't capture it being called immediately after?

x y z = player char coords
car = create_car at x y z
ped = create_char at x y z
car, ped = STORE_CLOSEST_ENTITIES player char // -1, -1?

So really the issue is with STORE_CLOSEST_ENTITIES implementation, not unit tests. Was it always like this (e.g. 4.4?)

Yes. The command just returns contents of ped intelligence scanner. It explains it's signature. Looks like command was created by opportunity rather than by need.

Can we force the scan when executing the command?

Yes, but the side effect will be change in ped's behaviour, and possibly other unforeseen results.
