After the transition to 15-minute MTU, the sensor now updates every 15 minutes. While this reflects the market data, it introduces challenges for automations and dashboards.
In Norway, household customers are still billed based on hourly prices, calculated as the average of the four 15-minute intervals within each hour. Because of this, the current 15-minute updates do not reflect the actual end-user price.
Feature request:
Add an option to choose between:
- Raw 15-minute prices (current behavior)
- Hourly averaged price (60-minute), matching how consumers are billed
This would make the integration much more usable for:
- Smart charging logic
- Energy dashboards
- Cost calculations
The goal is not to remove 15-minute support, but to make hourly averaging selectable.
Thanksfor your work on this integration.
