Update plotting lakes in the sky

I will look into this myself too, but I started using the newest update to TISC and when I plot lakes, they plot in the sky. See image. I am sure there is a - or something that needs to be flipped. It is also plotting the lakes OVER the sediments.

A few years ago, I fixed the lake thing in the cross-section, but maybe something new as changed it?

This is an issue that is related to the time discretisation.
To plot this section you use the GMT scripts to read the *.hrz file, which contains the thickness of each 'block' (including water, despite this is not really a block, sensu TISC).
The thickness of the water is that of the previous time step, but it is added in the figure to the present sediment thickness and basement depth, so the top of the water is not flat anymore.

So:
try reducing dt as much as you can, to reduce this effect.

I just did a small dt (0.5 Myr) and eros_dt (0.0001), and I don't see any changes.

Mmmh. I see, tectonic deformation occurs by at least 1 full cell, regardless dt. alternatively, don't plot water in this way. As said, internally the calculation is fine. It's just that you are seeing the water corresponding to the previous time step dt.
