[E_WARNING] Authentication

Has anyone encountered this issue before and been able to solve it?

"error": "[E_WARNING] Authentication failed for user "xxx@xxxxx.xxx": imap_open(): Couldn't open stream {imap.gmail.com:993/ssl}\nimap_alerts (0):\nimap_errors (2):\n- [ALERT] Invalid credentials (Failure)\n- Too many login failures"

I solved the issue by modifying the Google authorization settings and enabling IMAP and POP.
