Is F-Droid version abandoned?

Noticed F-Droid version doesn't updates since December (2025).
Is the F-Droid version of the app abandoned?

It depends what you mean.

F-Droid distributes the libre flavour of Aves, and the libre flavour is still updated and available elsewhere (via GitHub, Obtainium, Accrescent).

But F-Droid itself has ludicrous build environment constraints that prevent building the latest versions of Aves. I don't intend to lose my time working around these environment constraints, but other people could submit PRs to F-Droid to provide the necessary changes.
