I've created a bash hook script for use with dehydrated that works with Luadns.com here:

I have not found any other such hook scripts that go along with dehydrated that uses Luadns.com, which led to me creating my own. I've also created a debian package for those running Debian or any of its derivatives if someone wants to install it that way.
