Backup settings not visible in ngclient

• Operating system: Windows 11 Home 25H2

Description

On the main screen I have 3 backups. In the old UI I can see all settings inside that backup, but when in 'ngclient mode' The settings of those backups are not visible. Tried light mode, dark mode, language from Dutch to English.

Steps to reproduce

Just change to new UI.

  All info from old interface visible in new interface

That looks odd. Can you check what the url string is in both old and new UI ?

Also, if you open the "Developer Tools" in your browser (F12 usually), do you see any errors in the console?

Thanks for the follow up. For the systeminfo error, could you try to get the JSON from DevTools or similar and see if you can somehow figure out what is wrong there?

For the other error with parsing the path, I realize that the redacted information is sensitive, but I think this is the cause of the issue. Something in that string is not valid in a url.

The part with "http://" in the middle looks really strange. Do you see that part also in ngax?
I would expect only:

ssh://[redacted]?auth-username=[redacted]&auth-password=[redacted]&ssh-fingerprint=[redacted]

Here are the settings:

Storage Type: SFTP (SSH)
Server and port: [usernamelowercase].stackstorage.com
Path on server: DataDisk
Username: [usernamelowercase]
Password: something like 5uNkD%pAp2

They don't show up in the Developer Tools in the old UI, but In the new UI they do because of the error above.

Problem is still active, I added a new backup profile (in the old UI) and those settings are also not visible in the new UI.

@Eraser127 do you mind saying which settings you're missing? is it the username and password you're refering to?

If i enter the ssh://hello:22/hello?auth-username=hello&auth-password=hello&ssh-fingerprint=hellohttp://hello?auth-username=hello&auth-password=hello&ssh-fingerprint=hello into my dev version it adds the path just fine

Do you mind waiting for next canary that should be released tomorrow and test if it works as i did fix an issue with the path parser

@sp90 I downloaded the canary build, and it seems to work just fine now using ngclient.

I did notice when I enable the password view it just shows asterisks instead of the password.
