Adding ROCm and HIP support?

Nico's original build is compatible with ROCm and HIP Libraries, do you have the know-how to add it at least in the docker version?

If not, are you willing to accept pull requests on the subject? I might dip my toes into it if I have to!

Hi — this is my first time trying to contribute to an open source project. I don’t have an AMD card, so I can’t personally validate the ROCm path on real hardware; I was mostly learning how the fork → PR flow works and whether I could put together something useful from docs and CI.

I opened PR #98 with a Docker-only ROCm/HIP-oriented image (Dockerfile.rocm), a small device_utils hook from main, mocked tests, and docs. I’d really appreciate any feedback or changes the maintainers want—especially from anyone who can run it on AMD.

Hi! AMD user here. If anyone wants to test with my hardware, fell free to give it to me. Only requierment: UI (the program has to be able to be downloadable and usable with UI if you dont get it)

If you go to PR #98 I logged my progress.
I was able to build the image and fix issues inside it. Still some testing to do, but so far so good...
The exr format is a really heavy format and it is slow to extract, even using VAAPI on the GPU !
