Can we consider Emuflight as a discontinued firmware or is there still someone working on it?

unknown.
old code-base can't support newer hardware.
was expecting to rebase on newer betaflight and re-write emuflight specific code, but the task proves difficult with so few people involved. (and also whom have full-time jobs, etc.)
also a decrease in activity/interest form the community does not inspire.

I don't know if this can help fella but I'm a great Emuflight fan since almost its release...
I perfectly see what you say, having a full time job really doesn't help at all (but this is basically the reason why I dig this firmware so much: my full time job doesn't allow me to tune Betaflight which is overcomplicated for me).

Since this discussion, the following has transpired:

• BMI270 and ICM42688P drivers were merged.
• new targets were made and i will build new targets upon request.
• bare minimum HDZero support will be merged soon. WTF.OS and Walksnail seem to work on this to some degree as well.

• We have unreleased 0.4.3 which includes bare-minimum MSP-Display-Port as well as BMI270, ICM42688P, and many targets.
• Can use it now: https://github.com/emuflight/dev-unstable/releases
• Once 3D mode is fixed, plan to release it officially.
• Development is essentially discontinued at this point, but open to PR's.
