Can't refocus on pad after interacting with menu bar

Describe the bug
After selecting a few font size or style or color using ep_font_color3 or ep_font_family, I'm unable to continue typing without clicking back in the document. I've tried calling editorInfo.ace_focus() from hooks in those plugins, but this doesn't refocus the caret in the document.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

• Etherpad version: 2.2.6
• OS: OSX
• Node.js version v23.3.0
• npm version (npm --version): 10.9.0
• Is the server free of plugins: plugins: ep_font_color3, ep_font_family

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: OSX
• Browser: Chrome
• Version 129.0.6668.100

I think it's down to individual plugins to ensure they put the focus back into the editor, I can't see how that is something core would do as it's the plugin that pulls focus away.. We could say "on user initiated edit draw focus" but a plugin might not want that...

Is it worth creating this issue on ep_font_family and ep_font_size(whatever)? I don't know.. Anyone has an opinion?

Sorry I wont get time to work on this, IMHO the plugins each need a focus after select call but I can't say for certain.
