kpow-ce protobuf topic without schema-registry?

Describe the issue
We have some kafka topics which are protobuf but without using our schema-registry. In other tools like redpanda connect, AKHQ you can provide the proto file/descriptor file + topic to make the messages readable.

Is there any way i can make this work in Kpow-CE?

Hi @lzwaan sorry for the delay.

That sounds like a reasonable request - we also have a backlog ticket to display Proto (and other binary formats where the schema is not available) in base64 format. I'll add this extension to allow the user to produce a schema per-request as well.
