Describe the Bug

New bookmarks are removed (deleted) on next sync, new folders are deleted on next sync including content, bookmarks are rearranged (sorted) to a seemingly random order.

Expected Behavior

Sync (merge) bookmarks to existing list, keep sorting order.

To Reproduce

Add a bookmark to browser, wait for next sync to happen.

You have made the right choice to come here and open an issue to make sure your problem gets looked at and if possible solved. I currently work for Nextcloud which leaves me with less time for side projects like this one than I used to have. Mmmh. In this broad description I think this is unlikely to be reproducable. There is broad test coverage for these features. Simply adding a bookmark is not going to make floccus delete it again, I'm rather confident in saying, same with folders and sort order. If these basic features were broken, there would also be more noise from users, I think.
I don't deny that you probably experience problems, but they may be more narrow in scope than what you describe.
Do you have a debug log from such a sync run, perhaps, so we can figure out what's happening? Also, your Chromium version is quite old 🤔
