Dashboard changes undone because of permissions issue #837

Describe the bug
I opened a dashboard, workbook and made changes to the dashboard. Insights allowed me to make the changes with a small error.
I assumed that the changes are made because they were visible in the dashboard.
But after some time when I opened the dashboard I was not able to see the changes. :(
Firstly, I should not have been allowed to make changes to the dashboard if they were not going to be applied.
