Is https://frictionlessdata.github.io/frictionless-ts/ going to be the preferred method of working with frictionlessdata within Jupyter Notebooks? It looks as though the Python module alone no longer receives updates as of 2026.

It seems likely that is becoming the primary focus for JS/TS environments (like JupyterLab extensions or Deno notebooks), especially if the Python library has slowed down. However, for standard Python kernels in Jupyter, the Python library is usually still the go-to. If you're building a Jupyter widget or extension, then yes, is the way forward.
