Linkding docker use LD_HOST_PORT

My instance hosted since 2023 no longer worked.

I commented out LD_SERVER_PORT env and changed internal_port=9090 to make my instance working again.

Thanks for the reminder - this is caused by a recent breaking change in Linkding and is using the latest docker tag by default.

Do you happen to have the exact error message you ran into? Then we can pin an issue with steps to resolve to the repo

This is the message I receive on Firefox browser

Error code: 502 Bad Gateway

This is the log I received on fly.io

[PC01] instance refused connection. is your app listening on 0.0.0.0:8080? make sure it is not only listening on 127.0.0.1 (hint: look at your startup logs, servers often print the address they are listening on)

After port changed to 9090, I could see the log in page. When I tried to login, linkding failed with the following error message in the fly.io log

[PU02] could not complete HTTP request to instance: connection closed before message completed
