Zed editor extension

I found the extension for VSCode, but what about Zed editor extension? Many devs have moved to It already.

Hi, we are very aware of Zed (see my recent post about it). I now use it daily and I believe other maintainers on the project have/do also use it. However, at this time, Zed extensions are very limited in what they can do. We might be able to provide some very basic support, but not much beyond what the current built-in YAML language support provides.

There is no ability (as far as I can tell) to create/populate panels or add commands in Zed which are the main features people use from the VS Code extension.

I will leave this open for now, but I wouldn't expect this position to change for some time. A better extensions API is on Zed's roadmap, but this will be a post-v1 thing and there is no indication as to the priority of this in relation to other post-v1 items.
