FLIR camera settings, like exposure duration (not to be confused with projector exposure), capture frame rate, and other settings are not set correctly whenever the stepper laptop is booted. This causes issues while using the camera images from the Stepper GUI, such as visual "band" artifacts due to a frame rate mismatch between the camera and the projector. If not configured correctly, CV operations may not work correctly.
The current workaround is to open the vendor software for the FLIR camera software and establish the settings manually. A nice feature of the GUI software would be to send these values (e.g. maybe specified in a config file) to the FLIR camera programmatically.
Low priority.
