Extremely slow performance

I am having extremely slow performance on all computers I use with gcsf. Reading and writing files appears synchronous and can take hours to transfer a large number of files, but also just listing the root directory can take thirty seconds or more.

Is this expected behavior?

How did you install gcsf? If you build it from source, make sure to use the release profile (cargo build --release). Using the default debug build would explain poor performance. If you are in fact using the optimized build, can you try running gcsf using a wired network connection?
